  • Condition: Pre-owned, VERY! good condition. See all images, video & description herein for full disclosure of condition, quality and style or other visual attributes. Notice the details in the video, this piece is absolutely beautiful. It is hard to find any significant signs of wear, so we looked for insertion marks or other mars. There are ~4 very small light scratches if you hold it in the right light-3 on the shaft and one on the outer rim. There are two "witness marks" that I believe are either for alignment or fitment, or just insertion marks, I'm not sure - I'm not a trumpeter - but they appear to be 180 degrees from each other on the shaft. It is possible that the plating is thin in a very small 1.5 mm by .5 mm area on the outer rim visible with a magnifying glass.

    The was my Uncle's, who played the trumpet in high school (graduating late 1950s
    ) and he played taps at cemeteries for many holidays honoring service personnel.  He was enlisted in the US Army, and proudly served our country.
    He gave up the horn at about age 20 and kept the mouthpiece all these years in a jewelry box!
