VINTAGE VINCENT BACH CORP. 6 1/2 AL mouthpiece in good condition, note the dot (.) after "Corp" is tucked into the P, and a smaller VERTICAL "1/2" fraction, denoting it was made in the 1980s with a less common stamping. This 6 1/2AL is a more rare desired version of the common 6 1/2A. The Bach mouthpiece catalog states that the 6 1/2AL mouthpiece has "The same rim and cup as No. 6 1/2A, but with a larger "G" throat and 420 backbore for trombonists who strive for a Teutonic tone quality. Recommended for euphonium players who desire a round, mellow tone of great carrying power and substantial volume.The rim and cup are in good condition, some signs of wear but the overall majority of its silver plating is still intact. Most notable signs of wear are on the shank also with plating wear as expected for vintage mouthpieces. Some scratches and marks from use overall, priced accordingly, look at the pictures for condition! Buy now with confidence, this mouthpiece has been cleaned and disinfected to sell.
