Vincent Bach Corp Mt Vernon NY Size 12B Vintage Cornet Mouthpiece - Silver
Vincent Bach was a rare combination of artist and engineer. A mechanical genius and acclaimed trumpet soloist, his instruments and mouthpieces are used today in every major studio and orchestra in the world. Bach personally designed the tools and composed the plans that continue to set the high standards for making all Bach parts today.
Please Note: This vintage mouthpiece dates from the early 1960s and is in excellent condition with very light signs of use. Incredible mouthpiece for being 60-ish years old. It looks to me like a floor model that was stored for a long time. You've heard of vintage cars found stored away in nearly new condition. This is a mouthpiece just like that. Item has been cleaned and will serve you well. This is your chance to pick up a piece of history and pay like the greats of the past. The item you see is the one you will receive. Approx Cup Diameter - 15.20 mm
Cup Depth - Medium Deep
Rim Shape - Broad, rather flat
The same rim as the 12, with a slightly shallower cup to make the tone more lively. High register responds well.
